SEM and SEO Conversion Rates

Out of My Gord  is one of the best search oriented marketing blogs.  Recently Gord shared a great data set of click through rates or conversion rates based on your rank in both paid and organic search. 

The data shows that the best positions to be in on the page are organic 1, 2, 3 followed by paid 1:

Organic  1            27%
Organic 2            20%
Organic 3            10%
Paid 1                 9%
Organic 4            6%
