2010 The Data Decade

According to Amazon.com former chief scientist Andreas Weigend, as reported by Steve Rubel in Forbes.com, more data was generated by individuals last year than in the entire history of mankind through 2008.  

Steve points out that we are just beginning to understand how to interpret patterns of data (eg; Google search, Amazon.com purchasing).
